"And with the rainbow, seven colors, perfection. God is perfected in sevens. And there He was also as rainbow, as a covenant. Everywhere you look, you can see God, if you'll just look into His nature." 59-1129
I love how you can watch the rain come pouring out of the clouds!

Justin's boss does a lot of alfalfa so his workers are busy with the hay most of the summer.
Once the hay is cut, baled, and stacked in the barn, Justin loads it onto the trucks.
I went to work with Justin one day after a big rainstorm and the creek was running pretty good!
Usually it's just a dry wash but during monsoon season it's an actual creek!
Checking pivots one morning...

Justin's been swathing alfalfa again so that means I get to come ride with him pretty often.
I've been reading the "Foxe: Voice's of the Martyrs" book aloud while we ride...there are so many inspiring stories in that book!
We saw two coyotes one day.

We climbed up and sat behind the bale that's tipping a bit so the coyote's wouldn't see us.
The barrel cactus outside our front door is blooming...
One evening Justin took me coyote hunting...
We climbed up and sat behind the bale that's tipping a bit so the coyote's wouldn't see us.
After calling for a good 20 minutes without seeing anything, we spotted one about 200 yards away. I guess you can tell from the picture (and the smile on his face :) that he got it!

It's good to have a window on your world, Kaitlyn. Life is so different in Arizona and yet...your kitchen looks like your mother's. You're even better than a book on tape. Lucky Justin to have you along to read to him and to talk to. We're off to Kiptopeke, VA this week in the motor home. Junie will have a staycation and we're having a vacation. I'm glad Bert has his new friend Ernie. XO
Enjoyed reading this post. I wanna know-is the sweet corn in Arizona as good as Pa. corn? HA!! It looks yummy & so do your canned peaches. Uncle Ron enjoys me reading out loud to him too, :-)
What do they do w/ coyotes? Do they tan their hides--he could make you a rug!! Aunt Carol
