One evening this week Justin and I went and rode with our friend Tom while he was combining oats.

The other day I saw this whirlwind while driving home from Tucson.

I've never seen big whirlwinds like that before moving out west!

A gopher snake was spotted in the Strite's garden shed while I was there one afternoon.

Justin caught it and let it go under the trees and we got to watch it slither up a trunk.

Fishin' & Campin'

This past weekend Justin and I went on a fishing/camping trip!  He has been wanting to take me fishing for a while and it finally worked out for us to go spend a few days up by Bonnie Tank.

We left before 6 on Friday morning, it's a little over a three hour drive.

We didn't have too much luck fishing...we only caught three fish the entire weekend and they were too small to keep!  But we did have a wonderful time together!

: A Visit to Pennsylvania :

Last week I went back to PA for a short visit to see my family and friends.  Leaving Thursday afternoon from Tucson, I arrived in Harrisburg around 10 p.m. (EST) where Mom picked me up.  Friday, Grandmommy and Grandpoppy came up and us girls went shopping.  We stopped by the store where I used to work so it was fun to see some of my coworkers!  Saturday, I went yard saling with Mommy, Lillia, and some Amish neighbors, it was a lot of fun and we found some good deals!!  Saturday afternoon there was a baby shower for a friend and volleyball in the evening at Mark and Kayla's house!  Sunday morning I left the house bright and early with Daddy.  I got on a flight to Phoenix and from there to Tucson where Justin picked me up!  It was a fun trip packed with lots of fun moments!

Volleyball Saturday night

I didn't take very many pictures, but the whole trip was very fun!  I was glad to get home to Arizona and to see my sweetheart again!!  We got home Sunday afternoon and I was in the kitchen when I saw something moving around in the bushes in front of our house.  I thought it might be a coyote but I wasn't sure so I didn't say anything.  Then about three minutes later I saw it again and I could tell it was a coyote so I called Justin over.  There were actually two of them out there!  We watched them from the windows as they crossed our driveway and loped around the back of the house.  It was kind of a cool "welcome back to Arizona" :)

Making Memories Together

The best part about being married is making fun memories together!

This past weekend we packed a picnic and went hiking.  It was a beautiful day with just enough clouds to shade us and a little breeze blowing to keep us from getting too hot!

We're halfway through the year!!

Can you believe it's actually June already??  I certainly can't!  Time seems to be flying by but we are enjoying every minute of it!  To start out the month of June we went to Jaylon and Hannah's house to celebrate their little guy's first birthday!!  Happy Birthday Kyle!!  I can't believe he's one already! :)

 It was really cute to watch him eat his own little cake.  At first he was picking off the sprinkles one by one, then he started really digging in with both hands! :)

When my family came out in May, they brought a lot of my craft supplies so I enjoyed making Kyle's birthday card :)

I went to have lunch with Justin one afternoon but just before I got there one of the tractor tire's tubes blew that he was working in.  So we ate lunch and then headed for Wilcox together to go get it fixed!  It was a hot day and I happened to have a gift card to Dairy Queen...so we stopped for some ice cream cones! :)

Hannah's parents and sister were out visiting for the week so it was nice to have them there as well :)
