Tonto Natural Bridge

On Monday morning we started the drive to the annual ski trip in the White Mountains.  We left a bit early and picked up Chantel, Bethanny, Silas, and Moriah from the airport in Phoenix before heading to Tonto Natural Bridge State Park for a bit of hiking.
Benjamin and his buddy :)

The natural bridge

Quite a few decided to hike back in under the bridge.

...and the rest of us stayed back to enjoy the view :)

There is a little water fall that trickles from the top.

Shooting Skeet with the Sangers

The week and a half long party started on Saturday when my family arrived.  We took them all skeet shooting that afternoon and had a "blast" together!  I mostly took videos so there is a compilation of those for you to enjoy :)

We took the dogs and would you believe they fell asleep with all that shooting going on!

Happy New Year!

Wow, is it just me or did twenty-sixteen go by reeaallyyy fast?!  Once again the Lord brought us through another year safely and He blessed us in so many ways.  One main blessing being our little baby! It's so fun to think that "this year" we will be having a little boy!  We are so excited and look forward to April very much!! :) New Year's Eve we went to a watch night service at our church.  Afterwards we went to Olive Garden with Jaylon and Hannah and then back to their house and played games until it was time to pray in 2017.  It was a really special time to just stop and each thank the Lord for all His blessings in 2016 and ask for His guidance in our lives during 2017.

One of the Christmas presents I received this year was the book the stars of Fixer Upper wrote.  It was really interesting to read how their businesses got started and how God opened (and closed) all the doors for them along the way!
Joylin had my name for the family Christmas celebration and she also gave me a fetal stethoscope so Justin and I are enjoying getting to find and listen to the baby's heartbeat.

I can't post without sharing some pictures of our pups! :)
Rex and Lexi weren't too sure what to think about riding around in Justin's truck bed.  I think they ended up enjoying it, after they decided to forgive me for putting them in an area they couldn't escape! :)

They are getting big so fast!

Thank you for stopping by and reading through the posts!
May you and your family have a blessed 2017!

Christmas Party

Before the new year began, we attended a lovely Christmas party held at Jonathon and Melissa's house on the ranch.  Natalia was in charge of games and there was a gingerbread house decorating contest which was pretty fun.  It was comical to see all the adults spreading icing and trying to make their houses (or trains) look the best within the time limit!

There were 5 groups of 4/5 people all decorating their creations.

Jonathon and Philip intently at work on our gingerbread train... Justin and I were on this team too and actually ended up winning the contest!

Stephen's team... their house had some pretty epic icicles hanging from the roof.

Sis. Deb's team

We all had a really fun evening together.  Thank you to Natalia and Melissa for planning it :)
