Beach Day | Cape Henlopen State Park

Benaiah and I recently flew to Pennsylvania for Joshua's graduation party.  Our visit started off with a day trip to the beach in Cape Henlopen State Park.  Before I got married, our family used to go to this state park once or twice a year with the bikes and camping gear for a few days.  It was really fun to go back, this time with my little boy!  Justin didn't get to come along this time because they have started harvesting corn on the farm where he works.

Serenah and Benaiah were just adorable little beach babies!

Benaiah checking out the waves with Grandpa and Auntie Joy.

The weather was beautiful for the beginning of October.

Quite a few people commented that they'd never been in the ocean this late in the year!

Mommy took this picture of Benaiah and I on the camera.

Serenah played in the sand all. day. long.
She was sooo sandy by the end of the day but she sure had fun!

Benjamin enjoyed flying a "height" (as he calls it) for most of the afternoon 😄

We had a great day at the beach, the weather was amazing and the company was even better!
